NMCI Sailing Club Table Quiz - Dec 2nd 2009
On the 2nd December the NMCI Sailing Club hosted a successful Table Quiz and Raffle. With an impressive turn out of support from both the local community and members of the Student body and the Irish Naval Service it was a well enjoyed evening.
Support also came in the form of sponsored prizes from local businesses based in Carrigaline, including Spice Indian Restaurant who donated generously a substantial dinner voucher for the winning team, Dunnes Stores and the Carrigaline Court Hotel in contributing further prizes for the raffle and of course the Ferryboat inn, who provided the half time munchies and allowed us host our fund raiser.
The winning team “A bunch of A/B’s” received the top prize happily.
The funds raised will go towards supporting a further third team to enter at our next IUSA Varsities in Kilrush at the end of January 2010 as well as purchasing maintenance equipments desperately needed for the NMCI Larks.
