2008/2009
The NMCI lost to IT Carlow in a very hard fought Ireland Colleges South Division 2 game Wednesday 5th November 2008 in Crosshaven. Every member of the 20-man squad put in a great effort but were beaten by a well drilled Carlow team who represent their Sports Science Class specialising in Rugby. The teams retired to the NMCI for food and the visitors expressed their admiration for the NMCI. Well done to all – Stuart Armstrong, Coach also deserves a mention for preparing the team so well in just 2 weeks.
